Are there any difference in a 308 verse a 270,30.06, or a 7-08 when it comes to deer hunting and killing the animal cleanly.

Heck, for deer hunting, you could add .257 Roberts, .25-06, .260, 6.5x55, 7x57, 7mm RM, .280... They'll all getmake deer equally dead.

Lol, when it comes to deer out to 150 yards you could toss the old tried and true 30/30 into that mix. Dead is dead. Really though, all the rounds that you referred to are all highly researched military rounds, or derivatives of military rounds that where designed to kill effectively and efficiently. How can you go wrong with that?
