RE: new marlin .17 hmr
Usually if you buy the gun, Scope, and mounts they wont charge to put it on a bore sight it for you. If your going to Gander Mountain then im pretty sure they would have the scope you want so getting it done there would be your best choice. A gunsmith usually charges around $10-20 to do it around here if you bring in all the parts. If you buy the scope or mounts at a smaller mom and pop shop they may put it everything on for no charge.

RE: new marlin .17 hmr
Can someone suggest a good scope around 100 dollars. I heard from numerous people that the bsa's suck big time. I need a suggestion preferably between leupold or bushnell. thanks

RE: new marlin .17 hmr
Nikon makes good scopes. I just got a Nikon Buckmasters for $165. They have the Nikon Pro Staff which is not quite as good of a scope but still a decent scope. Also i have a BSA scope on my 204 and it has never gave me any problem. I woudlnt want one on something with alot of recoil but on a small caliber or rimfire they will work fine.
