I own Brownings and Remingtons, and while neither has failed me Iprefer Brownings. They are very smooth, and the actions reliable. I love the bolt design, and I am looking to buy two more rifles. One will be the Browning Whitegold Medallion, the other will be a stainless eclipse.

It's kinda funny you mention that because I happen to build rifles for a living and the current world record holder happens to be a rifle based from a a-bolt action. It's weird that my customers seem to like a-bolt,ruger #1,ruger 77,mauser 98,win 70,sako,stille,and rem 700 actions.

Well the David Millers,Browns,Jarretts,Echols,Bansners and most other well known gun builders don't seem to build much on the a-bolt action. And the aftermarket companies don't bother to make a whole lot of accessories for the a-bolt compared to the 700 and model 70.I also haven't seen many a-bolt based rifles at shooting competitions.
