A few buddies are waiting for the new 243 WSM to come out. Does anybody know when, sounds like an awesome gun I wouldn't mind having.

im gonna get one of those sometime i hope savage offers it in there varmint models otherwise ill go with the winchester coyote or the a-bolt stalker.

You better hope the 243 WSSM comes in a Savage so you can change the barrels when they burn out. Winchester just keeps coming out with things that don't make sense. What was that old saying about a fool and his money are soon parted?

Do you think they will burn out that easy? I know the fps is up at the top end of the chart but a lot of hand loaders shoot hot loads from the .243. This my be a good round for the person who only shoots a hundred rounds or so a year. Ks let us know when or if he gets it, and how it shoots.
