RE: slug gun question

If i understand the question, (which would be easier if there was some punctuation between sentences) i think your gun will shoot low. But not necessarily 2 1/2" low.If you go with a 50 yard zero, you should check the drop at longer ranges.

Never go by the box, always try them yourshelf so you know where they will hit and your comfort zone to make a good shot.

+1 for sinocs, the ballistics on the box are based on a test gun which usually has a longer barrel than most hunting guns. You have to find out for yourself where your gun shoots.

ok i never knew that the gun they tested had a longer barrel, ok i will try them the next time i get a chance at longer distances.

RE: slug gun question

First look at what your average shot is going to be and zero to that distance. I'm assuming you've done this and that is why you sighted in at 50yds. Next I would do what the other guys in here have said and see what you gun does with these slugs at 25,75,100, 125,150, and 200yds. Personally, I'd have trouble justifying an ethical shot out past 125 with a 20 gauge but your little gun may shoot good groups out past that. The only way to know is to try em at the range and see what ya come up with.
