Anyone own one of the Mossberg Maverick shotguns? I'm thinking about getting one and I thought I would see if you guys liked them or not . Thanks

I see nothing wrong with theme a buddy of mine has one and it semes to do ok he like it he duck hunts with it every year

My maverick is pretty much the only shotgun I've used so I don't know how it compares to other pump guns but...

I've had mine for over ten years now and it still operates without a problem. This gun has seen a lot of use and abuse (ie. it's me ands Dads winter saltwater hunting gun: saltwater, freezing temps and banging around in an open boat).

It's reliable and cheap enuf that I never feel the need to baby it in the woods or the boat.

I own one and it does alright i woulda rather went with the 500 but yea i made a stupid decision, lemme tell you the pump is rather cheesy and the firing pin has a tendency to stick, but it is a good shooting gun other than that.
