I am thinking about buying the Remington model 700 SPS DM. I am not sure if I want to go with a stainless finish or if the finish on the SPS DM is just as good. If there is anyone out there that owns one please let me know.

There's 1 thing to remember-some finishes will flake off or wear off while others are on to stay. Stainless steel is %100 stainless with nothing to wear/flake off.

The stainless is easier to take care of, but the black finish is cheaper and if you make sure you keep it clean you'll be just fine.
