Any input on this rifle ? I have been offered one for what seems a very reasonable price. The gun is very clean.

I have a Rem 750 WM and it shoots pretty good for a semi... Hovers around 1-1.5" groups at a 100 yards...

The remington semiautos have been cursed with a couple weak areas so I wouldn't buy 1 UNLESS you have a chance to shoot it FIRST. The first is they are prone to malfunction from design of their gas operation and gas port. Secondly the extractors on them are little spring steel affairs that are riveted in. Lastly,the accuracy widely varies from rifle to rifle. Try it out first before buying it.

I must concur with stalking bear. There is a reason why the resale value of the Reminington SA's is low. Get a BAR if you cannot live with a manually-operated rifle!
