CZ 550 .243
I have a brand new in box CZ 550 .243 for sale. I won it through the Pass It On! Gun-a-Week Drawing: http://www.outdoormentors.org/gun-a-week.htm. This gun has NOT been fired, pulled it out of the box once to look it over. I'm selling it to get a shotgun. I might consider a trade for the right upland 12ga. Asking $600 negotiable. Located in Wichita Kansas.

RE: CZ 550 .243
All of mylocal dealers have them pricedright around $570+tax. With the exception of one dealer who is high on everything. Getting one for $550 OTD is the exception not the rule.$600 Is probably just a titch high if you include shipping in it. The problem is, it isn't a hard gun to find, so people are more inclined to buy it local. Plus you have to pay thetransfer fee to your FFL on top of the price of the gun. Good luck selling it though.

RE: CZ 550 .243
sale pending to okietreedude. Anyone know the correct way to handle this transaction legally? Okie is going to travel from Oklahoma to Kansas to buy the gun with cash. One local dealer told me since I know he is taking the gun back across state lines we have to fill out FFL paperwork for the transaction to be legal. Another dealer told me since the transaction is taking place locally it doesn't matter where the buy lives. Anyone have any idea what is correct? Or who I could talk to for the official answer? I sent an email to Phil Journey...but who knows how long if/when I get a response.

From the ATF website:
(B3) May an unlicensed person obtain a firearm from an out-of-State source if the person arranges to obtain the firearm through a licensed dealer in the purchaser’s own State? [Back]
A person not licensed under the GCA and not prohibited from acquiring firearms may purchase a firearm from an out-of-State source and obtain the firearm if an arrangement is made with a licensed dealer in the purchaser's State of residence for the purchaser to obtain the firearm from the dealer.
