Default Stuck Choke Tube

I have a full choke that is stuck in my browning gold, I bought it used from Gander Mnt, and have never fired it. I tried to put in a mod. for goose hunting, but cannot get out the choke tube that is already in it. What should I do???

Since you've never fired it I would take it back to Gander Mountain. Most of them have gunsmiths that work there.

Youmight take the barrel off, and let it set muzzle end in a plastic container filledwith2-3 inchesof oil overnight. If it's only a seizing problem this ought to help loosen things up.

Take the barrel off and put it in the deep freeze. It may contract enough to release.

Sometimes they get galled and won't come off without a lot of mechanical force. Use anti-seize on the threads when you put it back on and loosen/tighten it after each round of shooting, especially if you are using steel shot.
