    35whelen, 308win, or 30-06sprg.

    I would go with a .260 Rem or a 6.5x55 Swedish. Great for deer and mild recoil.

    I like the 30-06 or 270 that's the only 2 I've used since I was old enough to hunt never had 1 go more than 50 yards
