I just bought a Remington 870 Express 12 ga. yesterday, I havent got out to try it yet but I've just put a few empties through it to see what it's like, and the shell coming out of the chamber seems to get caught in the ejection port when there it a shell behind it, can somone help me out.

probably just the fact that they are empties...when the crimping is open id imagine that they tend to catch and not feed well...and my be pushing the legnth passed the chamber legnth...will probably feed live rounds without a problem...i wouldnt worry till i tried them..

Yeah but, I put an normal empty into the chamber the put a cripmedemtpy (my dad has a reloader) in the magazine so it takes of the extra length, and it still gets caught.

Try pumping it faster. And stop playing with empties in the magazine, they can pop around from the magazine spring without the added weight of the shot.

If you're concerned either shoot real rounds through it or go to a local gun shop or even walmart. Get some dummy rounds and test them out.

I would try a live round in the gun first. but i have found that you have to pump fairly quick with the 870s
