From your post,I can see you have limited knowledge of real world actual defanse experience/info. The reason you have more rounds in 9mm is twofold. #1 because it's smaller in diameter and #2 because you need them to "equal" stopping power fromthe time proven .45. A .45acpis bigger going in than a 9mmbullet is AFTER expanding. What good does it do to have a small hole regardless of penetration as opposed to a larger bullet that transfers all of it's energy into "target"? Please do yourself a favor and read evan marshall's statisics on actual shootout results.
