Default 10/22

I am wondering if anyone knows where it is possible to find Savage Arms .22 barrels for sale. I would like to build my own 22 and I know that savages are the most accurate 22's out of the box but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells just the barrels. I don't really want to buy a whole gun when all I need is the barrel.
Thanks.

Are you looking for a Ruger barrel or a Savage barrel?

Thread title is "10/22". Ok, now the 10/22a Ruger model and yet the inquiry is all about aSavage and nothing at all about a Ruger 10/22. [&:]

I'd say he's gonna try to put a savage barrel on a 10/22 action. I have my doubts about it working too hot.

If that's the case, he'd be beter off buying an actual bbl designed for the 10/22 and as a target bbl. Not just a large profile one but an actual match grade one. If the Savage bbl diameter would even work, one would still need to have the reciever threaded to allow proper attatchment and then have it all headspaced, etc.
Go to www.Rimfirecentral.com for anything 10/22. If you have a question about the 10/22 it's likely already been answered there.
