8mm Rem Mag and 350 Rem Mag
#1
Has anyone used these? Or fired them or used them on game?
These seem to be on life support, but they sounded cool, but it appears that it's going to have plenty of recoil, but it still looks cool.
Would anyone recommend these? I was just curious about them, since I haven't heard much about them.

I have used them both to some degree. The 8MM deserved better treatment than it recieved. The 338 Win Mag and 35 Whelen sort of stold their thunder. Istill really like the 350 Rem, I sold the 8MM to a gunsmith friend who intended to rebarrel it.

I've also used both, and i agree the 8 mag. is one hell of a round! All it needs it a good bullet like the 200 NP, and it will take anything that walks in the USA...
I'veusedthe 350 Rem. Mag. (in Rem 660 and Ruger 77) more than the 8 mag., harvesting moose ect... The only reason i quit using it is, at that time .338 bullets out performed 35's on the biggest animials, so i choose the .338-06 to be my bear rifle... I never could see a need for the belt either....
