James - I was out watching deer tonite with my Leupold VXII 4-12x40 and my new Zeiss 3-9x40. I'm not sure I did the right thing by buying a Zeiss. It definately doesn't gather as much light as my Leupold. I'm kinda dissappointed right now. Wonder if Sodak would take it back an exchange it for a Leupold.....
