It is a little awkward shooting freehand a heavy 10 1/2" barreled revolver, but I have an idea. Short of making a tripod , or resting the barrel on a stick, I think that a handle could be fashioned that could be fastened to the sling hole in the barrel shroud, { PC model.} to help steady the barrel. Has anyone tried that?

I have been kicking around the idea of designing a skeletonized shoulder stock that straps on wrist of strong hand like a bow release. It would be 100% legal because it would not directly attach to handgun directly in any way. This would primarily benefit handgun hunters with recoil as well as steadier aim. What do yall think of this? Would it sell? Should I go for it?

You could sure try, stalkingbear.
I don't shoot .460 S&W, so I wouldn't buy a stock, but you could also advertise on this site.
The best idea if you do it would be to put an ad in a pistol hunting magazine, or big game magazine.
It might be expensive, but it may just pay off, you know, you could put it in the same place where they advertise cheap camo, and gun racks, turkey calls, whatever.
