The bottle of Butch's Bore Shine that I bought last week seems to be working good so far.

Maybe they changed the formula b/cthe butch bore I have only took out traces of copper, after it passed clean I pulled copper with sweets.Iuse a dedicated copperremover after I have pushed my solvent of choice, its the only way I have foundfor a complete bore cleaning thus far.

Hoppes bench rest copper solvent is not in the same category as Sweets 7.62 or Outer's Foaming Bore Cleaner. Sweet's is far stronger but requires more work than the foam. I normally let the foam sit in my barrels for one hour, then run patches. Repeat. Then repeat again but let sit overnight. No brushing required. Can't be beat.

I've been using Barn's cr10 .I picked it up for an ugly second hander that Hoppes just wouldn't touch . I was amazed at how much crud I picked up in my others as well . You know gotta try it in all of your toys when it does the trick in an unknown .
