130 grain in the $10 a box of 20 rounds ammo. have shot fusion, federal, win., rem. all worked fine on me deer ive hunted. just had to adjust the scope a little is all. it would be better if it were the WSM though, 250 Fps more speed just from it being the WSM.

To be honest, now with the 270 wsm as a option, I would purchase it over a 270 or 25-06. Right now this cartridge is selling like hot cakes and adds alittle more performance, short action, lighter gunand less recoil.

My wife, my sister, and my daughterall struggled with the recoil of the .270 so I switched them out to 25-06.
