Just bought a old bolt action 410 moseburg shotgun can't wait to shot . any one have one how is it for rabbit or pheasent hunting .

I had one as a kid, and took a few squirrels, a rabbit or two, and several cats with it.

Then the safety got stuck between safe and fire, and it hasn't fired since. I suppose I could take it to a 'smith, but I've never bothered.

My Dad owned a Mossberg bolt action shotgun in .410 for at least fifty years: He killed at least a couple of thousandsquirrels with it.

Thet're not pretty, and they're not fast, but they do get the job done at .410 ranges.
