410/45LC The JUDGE
Has anyone had the chance to shoot one of these. I've been thinking about buying one. Taurus had a new revolver called the Judge. Comes in 3.5 in and 6.5 in barrels. I'm thinking of getting the 6.5 in. You can shoot 410 gage 2.5" shells or 45 colt long. I know that 454's you can use 45LC in them wonder if there's a 454 out there that can do the 410, as well? Or can I special order one in 454 cal. ? That way I'd have 3 choices 454, 45LC and the 410. Plus it would be nice to get it so can use 3.5" 410 shells too. I know asking alot huh? Wonder who to contact on getting something like that?

It's not new by any means. What is new is that Taurus is now calling it the Judge.
My cousin has one. I've shot it some and it is very easy on you - very easy. Because it weighs a good bit. He bought it for taking out threatening snakes with a .410 blast and it shoots the .45s OKout a short distance for bigger critters.

First of all,.410 shotshells are 2 1/2 and 3 in. Secondly,I wouldn't shoot .454 casull cartridge in any gun not reccomended for it. Stick with .45lc. The new taurus guns are top rate in quality and are underated.

You might go to www.gunblast.com/ for some info on it. They tested one and it is reasonably accurate.
