my son just got a bsa with the illuminated recticle.he is taking it back after christmas due to not being able to clearly foucus.it is like there is a blur

we own 3 simmons pro 50's and all are good scopes i've looked through leupolds and my simmons side by side and clarity was even. Im not saying they are eqaul but for the budget buyer the simmons pro 50 is a good scope
