RE: Remington 11-87
if its the same gun im thinking about (off the top of my head) my uncle uses it for quail hunting. i'd say its right up there with browning (although my uncle prefers the browning) but they're nice guns. i'd say go for it.

RE: Remington 11-87
the 11-87 is a very nice shotgun for the money.the 11-87 allows you to shoot 3 inch mags or 2 3/4 inch shells with out having to change barrels.they also come with the screw in choke system(i think)if its not standerd equipment, they are availible.the only real draw back to a remington semi auto is it is a tad heavy.to me though this is not a big deal.my 1100 is 30 years old this year and still going strong, and its been to hell and back.the 11-87 is just as good if not better.

RE: Remington 11-87
11-87 is awesome!!!!! When Remington made that gun, they also fixed some of the more typical "jam" problems that were encountered with the older model 1100's. Both good guns, but 11-87 is nicer.
