Heritage Arms Revolver

RE: Heritage Arms Revolver
I've worked on a bunch of them and I think you'll be a lot happier with a ruger single six. The rugers are about 100 times the gun that those are.
PLEASE do yourself a favor and look at the ruger.

RE: Heritage Arms Revolver
I ditto that (about the Ruger).
Bought a Rough Rider combo when I still had my FFL, and it was a decent little gun for the $78.00 I spent....at first anyway. Pretty soon the 22 mag cylinder wouldn't funtion properly...only once out of ten rounds would go "boom" the first time.
I finally sent it in for an estimate (after I let the waranrty expire! My bad) and they wanted $95 to tighten the loose barrel, change the timing foot, do some other adjustments... and they offered to sell me a newer, better one for a decent price. I passed on their offer, and had them send it back as it was....I tightened the barrel myself and added a dose of the more permanent loc-tite and have relegated it to 22lr only and it is a truck pistol.
I then bought myself a Ruger Single Six combo in Stainless Steel with nice wood grips and fully adjustable sights with a 6" barrel. It is a sweetheart.
Definitely look at the Ruger.
