My most accurate rifle is a factory Weatherby Vanguard VGX in .270 Wby Mag. Only work I've had done is a trigger job. I'm not a good enough shot to do it, but one of my buddies can consistently put three shot groups through it in the .70"-.80" range at 100 yards using a set of sandbags. And that is using 130, 140, 150 or 160gr bullets. They almost all arrive at the same point of impact, too.

For me , Gotta be my 1894s Marlin 44mag, It has a reciever mounted Williams peep, factory rear sight removed & pluged, and I had the lever stretched to fit my hand with gloves on. Anybody can pick up that rifle and be instantly proficient enough to hunt with it.. Its a darn good shooter. there is no sling on it so it's always in your hand FAST&ACCURATE<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

Flip a coin between my Savage 300 Win Mag and my Rem 788 7mm-08 Rem, though my other two Savages are also tack drivers and so is my H&R. Then again so is my Marlin 22 Mag. Gee, I seem to have a bunch of accurate rifles. Dumb luck maybe.

I have a couple of rifles that are pretty accurate but couldn't say one was better than all the others because I couldn't say I shoot perfect every time .I guess the best way to put it is if it won't shoot it don't stay ,the ones I keep do.

My most accurate rifle is my 12ga Browining Gold Hunter. LOL.

I wish I could hunt with a rifle in NJ, but no such luck.
