Default semi-auto shotgun

I am looking for some good ideas for the best 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun on the market for under $600. It will be used for deer, turkey and sporting clays. Any input is appreciated.

browning gold is a great gun, they have a 100 dollar rebate through this year and that should get you just under the 600 mark

Remington 1100 or a Browning A-5. Both are very reliable semi auto shotguns.Ruger Redhawk.

I agree with Ruger...The difference between the 2 guns is minimal. If somebody gave me the choice between a Rem and an A-5 I'd flip a coin.

Well, went to check out soem guns last night and liked the Remington 1187 in Mossy Oak camo. They were selling it for $739. Now the dilemma I'm facing is wether to go with the 23" or 28" barrel. It will be used mostly for deer and turkey so I am thinking the 23" would be a little better. I know I can get a different barrel in the spring.
