Default Walmart Beretta 390

Is the Beretta 390 sold at Walmart the same gun you would buy from a Beretta dealer? Any differences? Thanks for any information.

What a load of crap. The guns sold at Wal-Mart are no different from the guns sold anywhere else.

If you did then maybe you would know what you were talking about. Wal-Mart definately stocks the more economical models in a particular gun makers line up but a Beretta 390 at Wal-Mart is the exact same gun as a Beretta 390 sold anywhere else. Same goes for a Remington 870 or model 1100or any other particular`model. This whole thing is a myth that has been debunked a dozen times at this website alone. Smaller gun retailersspreadthis lie to scare people away from Wal-Mart and back to them and their250% mark up on firearms.

I've had a several local gunshop owners tell me about their "inside information" They all insist Walmart sells seconds. Of course they're completely full of crap! Walmart does have enough buying power to order some sepecial made firearms. Sometimes with cost saving features like a matte finish, fixed magazine, etc., but they aren't selling scratch and dents or guns with manufacturing flaws.

Model to model, brand name to brand name, Remingtons, Marlins, Savage, and what have you are all the same gunsyou can by at any other sporting goods store or Walmart. Don't fall for that crap. Gun makers will not put their name on the line and will not supply Walmart with seconds. I have 3 Walmarts within a 6-8 mile radius of me and all three dumped their guns about mid-December.............that just sucks.

I have had 2 A 390s for almost 10 years now. Great gun and I have never had a problem or even a jam. I highly suggest that gun if you are looking for a cheaper auto loader.

Just imagine the class action that could be filed if, for example, Remington sold 700 SPS's at Walmart with plastic components that break after 100 rounds, whereas the 700 SPS's that they sell through gun stores have forged steel components that last for generations. It is absolutely absurd for anyone to think that Remington, Winchester, Beretta, et al., would expose themselves to that kind of liability.

Wal Mart sells the Remington 7400 Aotuloader, I have this gun and it has never jammed for me. WalMart beat anyones price by at least 45 dollars when I was looking.

They are the same guns, you just cant order anything special, you just get what they order in bulk. Obviously that is why their prices are cheaper - economies of scale.
