needs 26" tube
6.5mm bullet is awesome. Check out the SD & BC of 140gr bullets
Don't buy a 7 mag, or 270, like the others have suggested. Its ok to buck the trend. Be an individual.

I have hunted with one for many years. Shot white-tail, mule deer, pronghorn, Big horn sheep, black bear, moose, elk and coyotes with it.
Most of the shots I've made with it could have been made just the same with a .270 or a 30/06. Many of them were chip shots thatcould have been made with a 30/30.
It is not the best or the ideal cartridge but I don't have any idea what cartridge is. I got it cause it was kind of unique and I still like it for the same reason.
