Default 45-60

Anyone know anything about them? Are they basically the same as a 45-70, just with less powder? A friend of ours gave us a whole bunch of old ammo, and there is one box of 45-60. There is also a box of .219 Zipper, which looks pretty cool.

Go over to the Leverguns site. Those guys can answer your questions over there. You could probably sell them over there if you want to. Tom.

Yes. And the case is cut off too,so the powder charge of 60 grains is as much as it will hold along with the bullet.

The reason for shortening it was so it would workin the M1876 Win. action......

I checked them out again last night, and I also found one round of 45-70. The 45-60 and the 45-70 are the same exact length, not shorter at all. Maybe I have some wierd rounds or something
