Usually one of two....my favorite carry is a S&W 380 semi. Small, light, and packs enough punch. The other one I carry at times is a FMJ SxS .45 LC/ .410 3" derringer. It causes eyeballs to get real big real quick.

I have had my permit for 12 years and have carried several guns, but I have been carrying a S&W M38 "airweight bodyguard" 38 spl for about 3 years. It is feather light and surprisingly accurate for a snubby.

Sig P229 in .40 S&W. Going to be purchasing a Glock27 in the next few months for a little variety.

i plan to get my permit sometime this year and i'm still undecided as to what i want to carry. i typically wear somewhat slim fitting clothes so i was thinking a snubby in the .38 range but then again i'd like a semi auto as well cuz, well, i just think they're bad. i've got plenty of time to decide though and heck i could just have two hehe

2 inch ultra-lite 38 Special is my everyday gun. I can carry it regardless of dress. In winter I sometimes carry the Ruger 45. I also have an Ultra-lite 44 Mag. 26 OZ. I pack 44 special loads for carry. 300 grain LBT style bullets for outdoor defense while hunting or hiking.
