I chose the name for my son and the name for my dog. When it comes time that I gotta get names for my guns, vehicles or whatever other inanimate item I have, I'll commit myself to the looney bin. Maybe 25 or 30 years ago that was a cool thing to do. Now...[&:]

My primary rifle (only) is a model 70 custom sporter 270 andI alternate between "The Wi-doe maker" or the "6.8mm O'Connor"...

I call my Remington 30-06 pump rifle "Instant Death". And I call my 1886 Winchester "Old Reliable". I have alot of other firearms, but these are the only two with names. Tom.

My 1895 Marlin is the Thumper, and I've called my Saga 20 ga the Black Widow. The other unnumbered masses are just what the factory's labled them.

The only name I give out is when I miss the targets centerand Iam usealy calling myself names.My old 80 FLT HD I call the Bit_H,but thats the only thing Ive named...

I only named one of my guns, the Rem 700 SPS Stainless...

It recieved the name shortly after I sawit. I looked at it and one of the first few things that crossed my mind was something along the lines of "Thats one bad sonofab!tch" :D. Ever since then it has been my "badsonofab!tch" and the name has stuck. :)
