I have two guns that I've named my 30-06 is called MY GIRL and my 22-250 I call the pissed off pea shooter. What is yours

Both of my flintlocks have names...My .40 caliber is Sweetheart, because of the heart inlay on the wrist.

My .54 caliber is Daisy, because of the Lancaster daisy patchbox.

Mine were all named by the factory... i.e. Remington Model 700 ADL .243, etc...:)

Seriously, I have never been inclined to name a rifle, handgun or any other weapon. I have only named trucks and tanks.

I chose the name for my son and the name for my dog. When it comes time that I gotta get names for my guns, vehicles or whatever other inanimate item I have, I'll commit myself to the looney bin. Maybe 25 or 30 years ago that was a cool thing to do. Now...[&:]

my 12ga and 30-06 are my boom sticks

I call my Remington 30-06 pump rifle "Instant Death". And I call my 1886 Winchester "Old Reliable". I have alot of other firearms, but these are the only two with names. Tom.

My 1895 Marlin is the Thumper, and I've called my Saga 20 ga the Black Widow. The other unnumbered masses are just what the factory's labled them.

The only name I give out is when I miss the targets centerand Iam usealy calling myself names.My old 80 FLT HD I call the Bit_H,but thats the only thing Ive named...

I only named one of my guns, the Rem 700 SPS Stainless...

It recieved the name shortly after I sawit. I looked at it and one of the first few things that crossed my mind was something along the lines of "Thats one bad sonofab!tch" :D. Ever since then it has been my "badsonofab!tch" and the name has stuck. :)

I love it except for one thing...the cheap, flimsyfeeling stock. It hasgreat curvature to it and it feels nice as far as design, but it feels cheap, thin, and wafery. I would be afraid to hit it on a sharp rock by accident. I am getting rid of the stock VERY shortly in favor of a heavier and grippier stock. The gun shoots great though!

My old J.P. Sauer 8X60RS SXS double is named for a feldgeschutz, called "Brumbaer". My .73 cal flintlock Jaeger's name is GrossJaegermeister.

The rest have no names......

I have one rifle that is Very Accurate. Icall it "all ready hanging".
When I chamber a round & take a good rest, anything out to 400-yards is going home with me.:D
