RE: Looking for a good slug gun anyone know of one?
Well about 4 years ago, I loved them. Didn't take too long for the barrel break in. Barrel was pretty smooth. Crown was always square. Out of the last 5 Remington 700's I picked up since then, only 1 is a real shooter, and another is ok. There others had excessive headspace, crowns out of round, rough ass barrels, and I didn't like the cheesy plastic type trigger guard. For 700 dollars, I expect more. So after dealing with customer service and that not going anywhere, I have made the switch to browning for shotguns, and winchester for rifles. Remington lost a long time customer that has bought dozens of guns off them. None of my old guns have these rough barrels.
