I bet more rifles were sold last year that were chambered in 300 WSM than any other rifle chambered in the rest of the .300 class (300 WBY, 300 WIN, 300 ULTRA, etc).

I would stay away from anything that has WSM or WSSM on it. Just my opinion.
10 years from now you wont find any ammo for it. I guarrantee it.
Agreed
You guys are nuts ...at least the 270 & 300 WSM are here to stay boys

That ZREX guy is from Texas and rides old style motorcycles...you got to watch him! I'm not a big believer in the new and improved calibers! It's not like we weren't able to kill game cleanly with what was already out there! When buying a firearm I look at is out there as far as factory ammmo where as if I'm in Hooterville hunting and I take a spill and need to buy something and sight in after field repairs are they going to know what wsm or wssm or STW or what ever flavor or the month is from the big dollar companies? Buy a standard caliber and practice bullet placement over "new and improved" hype!
