Dg -I have to ask what you zero your rifle at to only be 4" low at over 500 yards.With a muzzle velocity of 3500fps my 140 gr ballistic tips drop 17" from 300 yards to 500 yards.I am sighting my rifles in 2-3/4" high at 100 yards and they are 3-1/2" high at 200yards just under 1" high at 300yards about 6" low at 400 yards and 18" low at 500 yards.As far as the 7mm stw cartridge goes I have two of them and use them for all my deer,pronghorn and sheep hunting and could not be happier.

Did you mean to say 7mm STW?? Methinks an 8mm STW would be, of all things, an 8mm Rem. Mag.!!!
