I don't know what my favorite bullet would be because i've had good success with just about everything i've shot. I guess if i could only have one bullet for all my rifles it would be the NP. Whenever toughness and penetrationare mentioned you'll always see the NP's on the top of the list and for good reason, they work and work well in pretty much all hunting situations. However, the Accubonds have become a real favorite for me as wellas they are very accurate in my rifles and their performance on game has been on par with the partitions. I've also had very good success in the past with Speer hotcors and Hornady interlocs. I'm about to try the Barnes TSX in one rifle justfor kicks to see what their all about. There's so many good bullets out there these daysit's tough to havejust one favorite.

I don't know Elde, the trophy bonded bearclaw is every bit as good if not better.
I've found nothing to have as wide a velocity range as an NP''

Favorite bullet? I don't know. I don't reload, though I'm moving toward that. I do know this: last night I shot a doe through the ribs with a 170gr Corelokt 30-30 - she dropped immediately - and post-mortem shows 2-3" holes on both sides of ribcage. When I start reloading 30-30, I think I'll buy a stash of these 170 Corelokts.
I'm always looking to economize... how are Corelokts, price-wise, compared to other bullets? Any disadvantages to them? Any others privide more bang-for-the-buck? Seem to work pretty good... .

I think coreloks are one of the best performers and cost wise out their. I do see some variations round to round and have switched to Federal which seem to have better factory loads than Rem. NP and Accubond seem to be consistent - but I have shot quiet a few deer with Coreloks - 30'06 180g can be had for less than 18$/20 if you look around and less in 100 round buys. Alot cheaper than the 38$/20 just spend on Accubonds.
