It's a bit overkill for a bunny, and that is providing you can hit one with it. Not to mention riding a dirt bike with a handgun?

If you want to go rabbit hunting, go rabbit hunting. Are you afraid the little bunnies will jump up and knock you off from your bike?

Most use a shotgun for rabbits, but you can do it with a rimfire as well.

I'm not sure it would be legal either, deffinately might want to check into that.

If you are eating them, I think the 45 ACP will be harder on the meat! I think that is why 410 or 20gashotguns and 22lr's kind of have the market.

If you want to hunt rabbit with a .45, that's fine, I couldn't say much anyway, I have killed many with a S&W 629 44 Mag.

And I thought Elmer Fudd was over gunned, where do you shoot them, in the head I hope! Just to speek my piece on the 1911, I would think that ball ammo would not destroy any more meat than a 22 hp, since those arn't traveling more than 780-800 fps.
