kimber rimfires
hi all. does anyone own one of the kimber rimfires? are they as good as their price would suggest? or is anschutz still more deserving of my money? thanks for any info.

RE: kimber rimfires
Kimber's are fantastic. I own a few. Anschutz is fantastic. I have owned two-sold them both. No particular reason for selling. They are fantastic weapons. Either one would make an excellent choice. I say buy American. Tom.

RE: kimber rimfires
I have not shot the Kimber's, but have owned and shot the Anschutz. Their quality and accuracy is second to none. For many years I shot thousands of round with anAnschutz 1413 in 3 position and prone competion with no change in accuracy or dependablilty. I own an older model 1416D for plinking with the grand kids and it performsas well asit's big brother.

RE: kimber rimfires
thanks sniper. i'm looking for a high quality rimfire to also shoot 3P, silhouette and perhaps sporter benchrest. ( plus it will be nice to have something worthy of becoming a family "heirloom":)). if i can afford it, i will look at the anschutz match action models. but the kimbers also seem to produce great test targets ( as risky as it is to take those targets as "proof" of great accuracy) at slightly cheaper prices with some lovely timber on board. hence my original question.
