I know this should be in the deer hunting section but I almost always post here so here is my 2006 kill. Savage 116fss .300 win mag 180 grain win. super X at about 50 yards.

Man that is one nice whitetail. Today was the opening day of WV buck season. I hunted on our farm and seen a few small bucks, nothing big. But then we can not grow them that big around here anyhow. I am jealous. Tom.

If you post on the gun forum you have to talk about bullet expansion, weight retention and trajectory or it will be blocked! lol.

We're waiting.

Okay it expanded to twice the diameter of the bullet yet retained all of it weight !! No wait a min. it was at 50 yards .300 win mag it really just blew a hole the size of your fist though both sides and ran about 30 yards and died. How was that ??

I didn't see any decimal places. We need caliper measurements!

While you're at it we'll need your elevation from sea level too.
