The Burris FulfieldII in 3-9x40 can be had mail order for about 150 bucks. It is a fully multi coated waterproof scope and is about the best deal out there right now. I would suggest a good 4 power like the Nikon Monarch or Buck master as well. And don't turn your nose up at the Weaver V series.
