SHOOTING QUESTION
i have been shooting a 30-06 now i have a flinching problem. what
can i do to help this problem? i am thinking about switching to a 243 . do you think switching calibers will help my flinching? how well will a 243 work on deer. what is the effective range of a 243 with a 100 grain bullit? thank you for your help. |
RE: SHOOTING QUESTION
I have a .243 and my dad used to shoot a .243. very good guns. i use 80 grains and shoot 100 yards just fine so i don't see why 100 grain would be any different. now with the flinching problem, i flinch a little too. but there is barely any recoil on the .243. i guess it just depends on you.

RE: SHOOTING QUESTION
That deer was shot under 100 yards with a .300 WSM. He may claim it was shot with a .243 but it in fact wasn't.

RE: SHOOTING QUESTION
i have another question i forgot to ask. if i am shooting a remington
700 sps in a 270 with a r-3 recoil pad that reduses felt recoil by 50%. would this be soft enough recoil for some one who has a flinching problem to handle? thank you. |
