Wrong

A belted Magnum is a cartridge which has a belt at the base to prevent a fracture, because of the higher pressure associated with these cartridges.

OK ranger, I forgot headspace. I guess you own a few short mags as well, eh?

Ok, I did some research and found that the belt was only used as marketing hype, I apologize to anyone that was offended by my statements earilier, I still don't buy the short and ultra mag hype though.

That was obvious
Actually, cma, I don't really think that kind of response was necessary, either. But then again, you live in New York, and probably voted for Hillary.

No disrespect to Ranger140892, but he switched something in his first post. The H&H caliber's shoulders were too shallow not to steep. Good luck.

belted mag posts

Is there any particular reason you feel the need too personally attack me? If you go back and look at the post times, you posted that you had figgured out you were wrong and I posted my rebuttal to your earlier nonesense withing 6 minutes of one another, ie, I had not read your appology when I posted my rebuttal, but I let it stand as it was true.
There is nothing wrong with being wrong, we all do it when we are inexperienced or ignorant of a particlar subject.Sitll, Thats no reason to bite the head off someone who knows better and calls BS. Take a look at this.
