I am very fond of Burris myself. I would take one over any other brand.

My huntin' buddy with the .257 Roberts (Browning A-Bolt Micro Medallion) has a little Burris 3-9x on his rifle, and I've shot it many times. Even dropped a couple or three deer with it. Real nice scope, especially on this light-recoiling rifle.

Good Dogwork and Good Hunting

I put a signature series on my 7 rem Mag, I just got back from a week up north and let me tell you this scope is GREAT. Very clear, light gathering superb and tough (I banged it at least 4 times pretty good and bang on). I would highly recommend looking at burris.
