what bullet
ok just got new 270wsm Tikka T3 shoots great awsome gun not a bad statment from a diehard remmy fan. Anyway I have'nt had time to develop a load so I tried the winchester supremes 130 ballistic tips and 140 accubonds both shoot great but I was wondering what you guys think for whitetails 50 to 200 yards. I was leaning towards the accubonds

RE: what bullet
Just about any big game bullet will do fine on deer. I guess if I had to pick one it would be the Barnes X bullet in 140 gr or the good ol' Nosler Partition 150 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claws are a good premium choice too.

RE: what bullet
I am loading 130 grain Sierra Pro Hunters in my 270 WSM. Sometimes premium bullets don't work well on deer and other medium game as they are usually intended for and made to withstand hitting heavier bones and muscle on bigger game. You may find that the 140 Acccubond which is a pretty heavy bullet for the 270 may niot expand on deer size game. The 130 grain bullet from the 270 has about the same SD as the 168 from the 30 calibers.
