RE: Henry
Henry rifles aren't what they used to be in the old days.
IMO, Now, they are just pathetic in quality. Waay over priced too! Take the Lucky Man's advice.(Rebel Hog) Get the Marlin '94. |

RE: Henry
One of the best CowBoy action shooter(Evil Roy) shoots the henry rifle and won many competions with it. I own a marlin in a 44 I love it so the choice is 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other. hard choice if it was up to me

RE: Henry
He probably uses an antique Henry. Those, are good rifles.
One type had a HUGE (as in,long) barrel! Those were pretty accurate too, but now, I think that Henry Repeating Arms Co. makes their rifles too small, if you look at pictures of the Henrys, they hold the forestock with their FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [:@] |
RE: Henry
no he uses a new version and the small forearm your talking about is the 22 I think couse Ive held the henery big boy 44 mag and it has a regular forearm. If you look at the ads thats the 22 lr

RE: Henry
I've been to a gun shop where they sell Henrys, and the Big Boy rifle was pretty darn small in comparison to the Marlins. The barrels were very short. I would get a Marlin. I also think that Henrys are also heavily overpriced.
