Can someone help?
Hey everyone. I have a question about a firearm that my grandmother has. I do not know what kind of pistol it is but while at her house I did get some information off of the barrel and the grip. First of all, it is a 38. caliber pistol. It was made in Spain. On the barrell it has the name FCA DE ARMAS. Also on the barrel is GARANTIZADAS 1924-EIBAR lCAL LCNGO G. On the pistol grip it has 38.950. Could someone tell me if this is just an old peice of junk or could it possible be worth something. Also, if noone knows, can you tell me where I may be able to find out this information. Thanks a million....<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

You have a Spanish copy of a Colt or S&W in .38 caliber, not .38 Special. A lot of gunmakers in Spain made these copies in the early 1900's. Most used black powder cartridges and are unsafe to use with todays ammo. It is a conservation piece with a value around $50.
