You should experiment with several different brands and see which one preforms best in your gun. It will make a difference.

Dude, he has 3 posts! Maybe he's new to forums and doesn't realize common questions can easily be found by using the "search" button...or he may be lazy. Either way, welcome to the board and the right answer is exactly what you didn't want to hear. "You've just got to try 'em and find out". Trial-n-error is the only way. Your buddy could have the exact same gun. Same model, same gauge, same barrel...and it still may like "X"-slugs while your's hates everything but "Y"-slugs.

hey, rather than the normal "try em and see what works" (which is the correct answer BTW) I thought since I have the same gun I would at least tell you what worked in mine and maybe you could start there and move forward. My gun did not like the high dollar saboted slugs, the cheapest Lightfields and Brennekes performed best. I dunno why, but save yourself some coin and try the cheapies first.

I absolutely recommend you give the Remington 2-3/4" BuckHammers a try.
