I'm still kicking myself for trading off my Rock River Arms 16" Varmint AR15. Gun was an absolute tack driver, and one heckuva coyote gun. I traded it because one of my Benelli M1 Super 90s was stolen, and I needed another shotgun at the time and I was short of cash.

The first CF rifle I ever had was a Winchester model 94 in 30-30. I got it when I was about 15. It was a sweet shooting gun. A few years after getting it I decided to upgrade to a Rem 742 30-06 and needed some money to purchase it. My younger brother wanted to buy it so I sold it to him with the disclaimer that if he ever sold it, I wanted first crack at it. Well, he forgot and later traded it for a 22 revolver. I could have killed him. Never did catch up with the guy he traded with to see if I could get it back.

I had a Enfield Jungle Carbine that I sold for $250.00. I needed cash but I only paid $60.00 for it so I made out well.

I have sold guns to get the cash to buy different ones. Always it has been the case of getting rid of the junk to get something more worthwhile. No regrets on anything I've sold, if it was good, then I kept it.

I do have regrets about some that I haveand I don't like yet Iam keeping because of sentiment: Grandpa's Model 12 in 12 gauge (1914) Dad's M-94 30-30 (1950s) and my first high power an M-700 in 270 (1967). I probably could sell that whole mess and put together something worthwhile but i guess they'll continue to be my museum pieces.

I have been "gun trading" since the early 90's and actually turned it into a business in 1999 and 2000. Those two years alone, I bought and sold over 150 guns (my ffl holder started sending me Christmas cards). I found alot of "deals" and have MANY regrets, but I guess my biggest is letting go ofa 1969Belgium Browning High Power that was previously owned by country singer Ray Price. I sold that gun to buy my Sig P228 which I DO still have. There are many more, but I still think about that Browning regularly.

mine were as follows ,
remington m7600 pump in .270 winchester ( early 90's version with pressed checkering ) , that rifle just fit me perfectly and came up and pointedso damn good. i really regret that one ( needed money ) i've got a late 90's long action blr in .270 now but , it just doesn't handle like that m7600

remington m700 mountain rifle in .25-06 , one of the older ones with the hinged floorplate , ( not that crappy noisy DM version like the 7mm-08 i had ) , ( needed money again , last time i did that too ) i've got two .25-06's now , a thompson center encore rifle with a .25-06 and a .405 win. barrels , and one of the special run model 7600's that grice got in 2005 in .25-06 with a maple stock. ( that pump is sleek but , just isn't like my old .270 but , it's better than the encore , the blr , and the 700 mountain rifle i had.

those are mine and my replacements

The first gun I ever owned. I saved up for a year and bought a Remington 760 30-06 Carbinewith a Simmons 44x3x9 scope when I was 11 yrs old.My wife and I were only married about 2yrs and we got in a huge fight. She booked a flight home from New Mexico to PA the sameday. The ticket cost me $1300 dollars that I didn't have. I wound up having to sell myrifle and my bow at a pawn shop. I had about $900 into the gun and bow and I walked out of the pawn shop with $450.My wife and I are still married so it was worth it, but it still pisses me off.
