    Hell yeah thats enough gun.Almost point blank range out to 300 yards.Unless your shots will be farther than 300 the 7mm-08 will do great.

    The 7mm-08 is very close to matching the .270 Winchester, ballistically speaking(muzzle velocity/trajectory with 120 grainers)...and not many folks at all question the .270's utility as a quintessential 'whitetail specialist'...
