Scope for a Ruger 10/22?

What is a decent scope for a Ruger 10/22?
What kind of rings should I get?
Should I use the base that came with the rifle or get a better one?

With 22's almost any scope will do.I use a BSA 22 Special. I really like it. I'm sure the base that came with it is fine.

3030win is right just about any scope will do. I've got a tasco 4x32 on mine and it's right on out to 100 yds.

what do you plan to do with the gun? hunt? if so whats your targeted game? shooting targets? if so what is your normal range? its kinda hard to tell you a good scope without knowing what it will be used for...u may need a night vision scope for all we know! lol
